Pro: Chio (not sure if I spelled it correctly) was really wonderful. Nice welcome & courteous, she allowed us to check out 12pm due to thunderstorms & delayed train departure. Cute place & pleasant neighborhood, I felt I was visiting a friend :) Thank you

Contro: Mattress was a little hard on my back.

Pro: Host had additional extras like condiments and nice expresso for us to use which was fantastic. Also had shampoo and shower gel which was great as some places we have stayed in dont offer anything.

Good location for Venice

Pro: In a good location 5 mins from Mestre Station. Good communication from owner and self-check in. The room was an ok size with black out shutters and good air con. Dining area with shared fridge and kitchen corner. Room and toilet nice and clean. Mestre was a good base to visit Venice and Padova. You will pay city tax €4 per person per night. You still need to get the QR code to visit Venice but you are excempt for the additional day charge as you are staying in Venice Mestre (owner sent info)

Contro: Only six flats on landing and generally quiet - some guests were a bit noisy leaving in morning but ok otherwise

Very enjoyable 3 days in Venice, one day at Lake Garda

Pro: Great location close to train and bus station for easy access into Venice. Train was quieter, faster and cooler. Also close to small local supermarket and a large Spar 12 minute walk away. Nice balcony to sit on in the evening. Well stocked kitchen area with fridge freezer, microwave, kettle, cutlery, crockery and coffee maker. Very friendly host. I would stay there again

Pro: A great place to stay, close to the supermarket, transport, 5 minute walk from the train station, we were greeted by a lovely lady, she was so helpful, the place is spotless, a well appointed kitchen, there were bottles of water for us left in room, would definitely stay here again...

Great place for short stay in Mestre

Pro: Close to the bus station (Venice Mestre), shops and caffès nearby. Very clean, room was comfortable and big enough. We could leave our baggage for couple of hours. :)

Contro: There is some mold in the bathroom but I think this is quite common in that climate.

Wonderful short stay

Pro: We loved our time here, it is super close to the train station, the beds and towels were so comfy! The apartment was clean and modern. We didn’t get chance to meet the owner but they sent detailed check in instructions via WhatsApp. We wished we had a few more days.

Pleasant

Pro: The location was perfect since it was just 5 minute walk from the train station, so easy to reach Venice town. The Staff was always very kind and at your disposal to meet your requests.

Contro: It was difficult at first to get into contact with the Staff to receive the check-in info but once we got in contact the communication with them, also throughout the entire stay, was easy.

Pro: The room was good and clean, the location was excellent, the value for money was great, and the host was extremely welcoming and helpful. I'd be happy to stay here next time I'm in Venice!
