Wonderful place, perfect location, very well maintained

Pro: Very well positioned Great hosts - really proactive and helpful on arrival Super tidy and well maintained property

Contro: A minor thing over all, but the Bed could have been a little less firm- it felt quite rigid

Great location looking into the Guggenheim and close to many attractions

Pro: When I arrived I noticed a familiar looking neon sign facing me off the balcony and realized I was looking into Peggy Guggenheim's yard! The Corner Pub is just nearby and Academia and Zattere; easy walk to all on that side of Venice and the boats, grocery stores nearby.

Contro: The sofa bed was not particularly comfortable unfortunately as it's a cheap IKEA design without a single mattress and the mattress is always sliding down from the cushions and a hole forming. The garbage in Dorsoduro is a bit more complicated than in other parts of Venice but I finally figured it out and it's easy, but you have to be up in the morning or home when the garbage collectors come by. Heating was a bit of an issue, we were unable to control it and it was off the first day and freezing the first night; in general it seemed to be off when we were there in the evening and night and on in the day when we were out. Would have been nice if we could control it ourselves. I believe there we only 3 forks which was a bit annoying but we survived.

MITTENDRIN UND DOCH RUHIG- MIT ALLEN OPTIONEN FÜR EINEN INTERESSANTEN VENEDIGAUFENTHALT.

Pro: Die Lage ist hervorragend. Gute Bars und das Guggenheimmuseum gleich nebenan. Knusprige Cornettos im da gino. Frühstück somit perfekt. Die Bar an der Ecke ist sehr kostengünstig und wohl Kult. Anschlussmöglichkeiten mit dem Vaporetto in allen Richtungen möglich. Man ist auch schnell per pedes an den Hauptattraktionen. Wenn man es ruhiger haben möchte, ist man von Zattere schnell auf Guidecca und kann die Atmosphäre ohne Gewühle genießen, immer San Marco im Blick. Vom Turm San Giorgio kann man die gesamte Lagune überblicken ohne anzustehen und es ist sehr viel kostengünstiger als vom Campanille.

Contro: Müllregelung wurde etwas kompliziert dargestellt. War es aber nicht. Das Müllboot ist gleich um die Ecke. Man ist also nicht abhängig von klingelnden Mülleinsammlern.
