San Marco 1692 in the heart of @Venice

Un comodissimo soggiorno a Venezia

Pro: La posizione, centralissima e vicina a tutti i punti di interesse, la pulizia dell'appartamento e i servizi disponibili (ad esempio i prodotti per il bagno all'interno dei dispenser).

Contro: Tante zanzare e la mancanza di luce (probabilmente rotta) nelle scale del condominio (la sera abbiamo usato la torcia dei telefoni per illuminare i gradini)

Beautiful apartment, great host. Stunning city!

Pro: The location was exactly as it's described, right in the heart of the main area of San Marco. The view from the apartment kitchen was stunning and the facilities were very good and well stocked. The bed was comfortable and the extra pillows were much appreciated, the Mokka Pot was a great addition - although I had to teach my partner how to use it! 😅 The tap water in Venice is nicer than some bottled water in the U.K. The staff member who met us with the keys was great and sent us a whole bunch of places to eat during our stay, directed us how to use the bins properly and was very communicative from the moment we arrived at the airport.

Contro: There were 60 stairs to climb in order to get to the apartment, not a problem for us, but if you have sore joints or difficulty moving up stairs I'd maybe think of somewhere else. We both got bitten a LOT by Mosquitos so be warned and bring repellent with you if you can.

Pro: Very clean, separate lounge and bedroom, spacious bathroom, washing machine.

Contro: Up 4 flights of stairs

Pro: Situation is perfect ,really felt part of the city

Contro: Nothing. Slight problem with temperature of hot water for shower ,too hot for us and it did not adjust,but not a complaint at all

Contro: No lift so it was difficult to get luggage up and down the stairs Hot water heater didn’t work properly so the shower wasn’t pleasant

A fabulous, comfortable stay in a perfect location.

Pro: The location was fabulous, a couple of minutes away from St Marks Square, really close to the water bus docks, we took the Alilaguna from the airport to San Marco and it was a very short walk to the apartment. Great atmosphere in the street outside, right in the centre of shops and restaurants, but not too noisy, loved it. The apartment was really well equipped and very comfortable for a short stay. Comfortable bed. Felt very at home there. Excellent checking in process, very helpful, lovely host. It’s very close, about a minute away, from a luggage storage facility too which was ideal for us as we arrived on an early flight.

Contro: The apartment is right at the top of the building with lots of very steep stairs. My daughter and I are both fit and active so it was just about ok but wouldn’t suit everyone. The shower was virtually unusable, either scalding or freezing, a boiler issue I think. Tried everything but nothing worked, if we were doing something wrong then instructions would have been useful. The rubbish bin system was also a bit stressful, refuse collectors were supposed to buzz the door each morning, this did not seem to happen the 3 days we were there. We had to find local bins to put our rubbish in, luckily we didn’t make much, but for the price and the included cleaning charge, it would be nice to not worry about the bins.

Pro: Location, close to (hart of ) San Marco, Rialto, direct boat to airport, Eialto bazaar, market, etc.

Contro: narrow staircase dimensions for big suitcase, prefer little suitcase for Venice.

Pro: Location excellent, staff very responsive, place clean and spacious for 2.

Contro: We couldn't get the microwave to work so instructions for it woukd be a help. Also a map of Venice and some local.info eg where is nearest supermarket

Nous avons pu profiter de venise en amoureux, avec le soleil, sans vent en étant hyper bien situés !

Pro: L'appartement est hyper bien situé, juste derrière la piazza san marco, au coeur de Venise. Il y a tout le confort nécessaire, très bien agencé avec une vue sur une perspective sympa et un pont au fond. les étages ne sont absolument pas un problème et cela offre au contraire davantage de lumière. la chambre est au calme et la salle de bain spacieuse. Le quartier est vraiment formidable.

Contro: le seul bémol serait éventuellement la température du salon qui en hiver n'est pas idéale.

Pro: Das Appartement liegt nur wenige Minuten entfernt vom Markusplatz. Vom Bootsanleger „San Marco (Vallaresso)“ sind es nur wenige Minuten. Das Appartement ist ca. 35 m2 groß. Für unsere Bedürfnisse war es ausreichend geräumig. Das Schlafzimmer geht in einen Innenhof, nachts war es ruhig. Das Bett war bequem. Das Appartement war sehr sauber. Die Ausstattung der Küche ist gut. Es gab auch eine Filterkaffeemaschine. Der Kühlschrank besitzt ein Gefrierfach. Es liegt im 4. Stock und ist nur über ein schmales Treppenhaus erreichbar. Das gilt es zu berücksichtigen. Ein Supermarkt ist ca. 10 min entfernt und ab dem zweiten Einkauf einfach wiederzufinden. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter erfolgt per Mail. 1-2 Tage vor der Anreise erhält man die notwendigen Informationen. Beim Verlassen des Appartements konnten wir die Schlüssel einfach/ unkompliziert auf dem Küchentisch zurücklassen.

Contro: Die Stechmücken waren leider Ende Oktober immer noch aktiv. Im Schlafzimmer sollte ein Fliegengitter angebracht werden. Die Schlüssel wurden uns bei Ankunft von einer jungen Frau übergeben. Der Vorgang lief kurz und knapp ab. Viele Informationen zum Appartement haben wir nur auf Nachfrage erhalten, so z.B. zu Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Die Angaben zur Müllentsorgung haben sich im Nachhinein als nicht korrekt herausgestellt. Etwas mehr Zeit für die Übergabe wäre wünschenswert.
