Un appartamento con amore (e prosecco)

Pro: Ho dato 10 perché di più non si poteva. L'appartamento è grande, almeno per gli standard veneziani, con 6 posti letto (noi eravamo in 5), con due camere da letto e un divano letto (comodo) in cucina. La signora Lorella che ci ha accolto è stata molto gentile e completa nella presentazione dell'appartamento e nelle spiegazioni dei dintorni (praticamente una guida professionista!). Tutto organizzato molto bene (olio, sale, zucchero e acqua di cortesia) e pulito (erano presenti anche detersivi per la pulizia).

All in all, we can really recommend this place. Lorella, our host, was very amiable.

Pro: Everything was excellent. We were met by Lorella and she gave pretty much a thorough information about the area, places to eat, what to see and to shop for groceries, and also some attractions. Since, I have been to Venice a few times and never don’t really know the Dorsoduro area, the location of the appartment was excellent and easily reachable. This Sestiere is pretty quiet and not so crowded with tourists. The kitchen is quite equipped, even for coffee to make. We even were welcomed with a bottle of Prosecco and bottles of mineral water.

Contro: I can only say that the staircase to the appartment is not easy for those who might not be that really fit. However, for us, it wasn’t that much of a problem.

Superb apartment and environment

Pro: A nice, bright and comfortable apartment, feeling like home. On a quiet street although very central, close to the Academia and the bridge. The owner is very nice, helpful and cooperative, was there on call for us and met us on arrival, giving us a lot of useful information about the environment.

We had very nice vacation and hope will be back soon.

Pro: Close to Accademia station, perfect contact with the owner. Nice, clean and very confortable. Basics like cosmetics in the bathroom and in the kitchen tea, coffee, sugar available.

A quiet and attractively located apartment rented by a very friendly Venetian host.

Pro: I liked the apartment's central and quiet location and the fact that the host is a very friendly Venetian. I also appreciated the apartment's simple furnishing and its being located on the top floor. Check-in and check-out was simple and fast. And on the day of departure, the host let me store my luggage until mid afternoon.

Contro: The only mirror in the apartment is the one in the bath room. Additional mirrors in the bed rooms would have been useful.

Pro: The location is great, down a side street with very little foot traffic, but just around the corner from Accademia.

Contro: There's no bathtub, so getting our toddler clean was a challenge.

Pro: The apartment is located in a beautiful building which has been, with respect to the rich cultural heritage, carefully renovated. The apartment is bright and very tastefully decorated with a refined sense for details. The location of the accommodation is fantastic. We were warmly welcomed. Our hostesses Lorella and her daughter Silvia welcomed us as if we had always known each other. Upon arrival, we received excellent recommendations for visiting sights that are not on standard tourist routes and for which we are very grateful. We had a great time.

Pro: Due to the early fight, Lorella came to the apartment and waited for our arrival. She introduced me a lot about the apartment and environments around. Thank you Lorella
