Ca' delle Vele

Loved it and would unreservedly recommend it to anyone considering staying there.

Pro: Location was fantastic and the apartment was very clean and provided everything we needed during our stay. The bedroom and the lounge were very spacious especially the lounge.

Contro: Nothing, everything more than suited our requirements

Great place in central Venice, that is tucked away from the busy main street!

Pro: We enjoyed our stay here! The apartment was spacious and had pretty much everything needed. The check-in and check-out was smooth and the hosts were able to answer all our questions throughout. The location was perfect, tucked away from loudness of the main street, bur with great walking access to anywhere in Venice. As some people mention before, some things are a bit old in the apartment, but in our opinion, it just adds to the charm of the place and creates a nice vintage atmosphere!!

Contro: Some socket-plugs had the old entry holes, so certain devices couldn’t be plugged in. However, there were plenty of sockets with new type of entry holes, so that was not a big problem.

Great place to stay for exploring Venice!

Pro: The location was perfect. Close to the big tourist attractions, yet the street was very quiet. Fonte de Nove vaporetto stop was very close for easy access to all vaporettos to airport, Lido, Murano etc. Building and apartment was beautiful, just like in the pictures. Check in was very smooth.

Contro: Air conditioning was a bit confusing, with a don’t touch note, yet some switches were marked “ok”. We were unsure, if it was ok to use the air conditioner or not.

Pro: Spacious and comfortable, easy access to shops, restaurants, and the city attractions. Everything was perfect

Pro: Perfect location for us . Easy to find . Map your route in advance , it was like one turn from the Dock A . We arrived early and were able to stash our luggage in the hallway . It is shared with only one other unit , felt ok for us . There also was a storage business very close , it's some where by the Irish Pub I think . Not brand new modern furniture , but was nice enough , my date said very charming .

Contro: Light switches in dark hallway took a minute to find . I think I rang the bell to the other unit feeling around . Lol. Shower / tub was a little difficult changing to bath mode , needs grease , but nice comfy tub she said . . The curtains were sheer , had to open windows and the close the outside shutters to be comfortable for her to have our late night dance parties , not me though , I like showing off . There is a early procedure with setting out the garbage , we sleep in . But we found a can by the Irish Pub and the very little we had , went there , If you have a lot of luggage , it is a bit of a challenge with some bridges to and from the water bus , but that is the nature of Venice , Pack light , then pack lighter . The Apartment is in a great spot , very worth the hassle .

Pro: The host was very responsive and friendly, she met us at the door to hand us the keys and do a quick walk through of the apartment so we knew where everything was and how to turn on/off certain items and open the windows. The place was absolutely adorable and exceeded our expectations. It felt like a little home away from home and we very much appreciated that.

Pro: We celebrated my wife’s birthday, the apartment was amazing and Federico greeted us as we were a little lost and helped us get in. Venice is absolutely amazing and we can’t wait to come back and stay at Ca’ delle Vele again! Truly awesome experience.

Parfait

Pro: Grand appartement propre, confortable et bien équipé idéalement situé dans un super quartier de Venise à quelques pas de belles balades et chouettes restaurants / bars tout en ayant les principaux sites touristiques facilement accessibles, bref parfait !

Pro: Irena met us at the apartment for an easy check in and spent time with us answering all of our questions about beautiful Venice!!! She gave us some tips which made our stay special!!
