Great Central apartment

Pro: A really lovely well positioned apartment. Lovely and airy with great amenities. Great size for Venice with a lovely kitchen diner with sofa bed with a separate bedroom. The apartment has 2 bathrooms which would be invaluable for a family of 4.

Contro: Sadly the bed was not great for us, very soft. The base sheet did not fit the bed and had not been ironed. The sheet just moved when we moved. Also the 'duvets' were polyester and stained. They were under a quilted cover but were not very breathable or nice to sleep under.

Pro: The location was perfect away from the crowds yet still close enough to everything. The host was lovely and couldn’t do more for us with lots of suggestions of places to visit. Will definitely return.

Pro: Great location and great to be directly adjacent to the small canal and hear the gondoliers calling. All very comfortable and good instructions to find the apartment.

Perfect location, excellent apartment in the heart of Venice.

Pro: Perfect location, excellent apartment in the heart of Venice. The host gave us all important information and helped to reach the place from the ferry station. It was situated close to the main city attractions, but slightly on the side, so it was calm and quiet during evenings and nights. Only 10 min walk from the ferry station, from where you can reach the other islands or airport. Very nicely looking rooms, well designed. The beds were comfortable and bathrooms (2 of them!) very clean. We loved it and will stay there again when visiting Venice next time. Highly recommended. Also - very good value for money.

Contro: No standard coffee machine available, although there was a (gas) coffee maker - what was OK. The gondolas floating outside very often during a day - was an advantages for us and we liked it, although for someone who prefers calmness and quiet location it may be a problem. In the rooms - not enough storing space to leave clothes or luggage. A wardrobe or clothes shelf would be a good idea, or additional hanger.

Pro: Very comfortable with every facility one requires. The most comfortable bed & pillows. Good location convenient but out of the way of the congestion of hub. Jess was so very helpful. Highly recommend.

Lovely apartment, excellent location, fantastic host

Pro: Very spacious and well equipped apartment. Really quiet in an excellent location, just 5 minutes walk from waterbus and 20 minutes walk from Piazza San Marco. Jess the hostess was very friendly and helped me with all needs: late check-in, luggage storage, tips on good restaurants and even an umbrella!

Moretta Apartment Review August 2024

Pro: Moretta Apartment was a good size for our family break for 1 week. Five of us found the space ideal in size, beside the waterway where gondola boats pass each day, next to great restaurants and places of interest. Not in a too busy area. It has all the facilities that we needed, such as air-conditioning (which worked well ), a washer machine, plenty of towels, iron and a good television (with many channels) and WiFi. We had no issues with the apartment, and we were very pleased with it for the time that we spent in Venice. Photographs below show the view from outside looking into the water, which was fabulous in the morning and evening times.

Contro: We didn't have anything that we didn't like about the apartment.

Pro: The location is perfect for exploring Venice, and the property itself is nicely furnished. The bed was very comfortable! The host/ owner was very friendly and super helpful.

Pro: Lovely little apartment within walking distance of all the sights.

Contro: Nothing.
