Pro: It was very clean and comfortable, very good place in the center and quite calm. The owners were very nice, pleasant and attentive. They recommend us a lot of good places and other things in Venice. Only good recommendation for the owners and that place to stay :)

The best place we have ever stayed.

Pro: We had the most wonderful stay! We would recommend everyone to stay here. Our hosts went the extra mile and more to make sure everything was just right for us. Their excellent attention to customer service, cleanliness and detail was only outmatched by their helpfulness and personal service. They offered support, advice and information from the minute we booked to the minute we stepped back on our transport home. Having a superb breakfast on a beautiful terrace every morning surrounded by flowers, church bells and the sound of the Venetian people was the perfect start to every day.

Pro: Matteo and Elio were fantastic hosts who truly went above and beyond to welcome us into their home. The room was beautifully appointed, clean and tidy. The breakfast was set out beautifully and offered a wide selection. The advice provided by Matteo and Elio enabled us to make the most of our visit.

Gem of a place. Exceptional hospitality.

Pro: Our hosts could not have been more helpful. Matteo gave us invaluable help both before and during our stay. He made bookings for us, gave suggestions and even accompanied us to the ferry stop for our return journey to ensure we didn’t get lost! Nothing was too much trouble. Our room was very comfortable and scrupulously clean. First-class shower. In terms of breakfast, I loved the fresh fruit. Excellent coffee and croissants. Even a birthday cake on my husband’s birthday- they had noticed the date on the booking form. My dietary restrictions were well catered for. We had breakfast in the kitchen, but had the weather been warmer we would have been able to eat in the garden, which would have been lovely.

Contro: In terms of breakfast, we understand the convenience of packaged food in individual portions, but it would have been nice to have had less plastic packaging. Eggs would have been a welcome addition.
