Pro: Everything. Perfect position for what we wanted. The hosts couldn’t have been more helpful and obliging. Kitchen well equipped, 2 decent bathrooms, plenty of hot water, comfortable beds. A lift up to the property which was a life saver after a long day site seeing. The stairs up to the bedrooms are not for the faint hearted or physically challenged but they get easier as the week goes on and you get use to them. The terrace would be lovely on a warm sunny day.

Contro: Nothing really apart from a microwave may have been handy.

Pro: The location in Venice was great, the apartment itself was ideal, with tremendous showers, and the beds were very comfortable. We were not able to take advantage of the the roof terrace because of the weather. The owners were brilliant in helping us and making arrangements, which was greatly appreciated. The lift in the building was invaluable.

Contro: Our only suggestion would be to have more lounge seating as one sofa bed for four people was not ideal. And we never found the controller for the air con (although that was not a problem for us).

Great location, helpful hosts, spacious rooms, great roof terrace.

Pro: Helpful hosts. They were happy to book us taxis to and from the airport both ways and answered query emails in a prompt and friendly manner. They also gave us clear information about check in/out. The guy who gave us the keys gave us useful information and was friendly. Great to have access to the roof terrace. The sunset views were amazing! The three bedrooms (one double, 2 singles) were comfortable and very clean. The living room/kitchen were spacious. Smart TV in living area. The lift to the flat was very helpful! The flat is five minutes from the Accademia vaporetto stop and the Accademia museum. The boats take you to St.Marks Square in about 5 mins and the Lido in 15/20 mins. Other attractions are easily accessible on the no.1 route. You can walk to St Marks Square in about 15 mins.

Contro: The spiral staircase was safe and is clearly advertised, but the hand rail is a bit unsteady. Could it be stabilised a little more? The flat could do with a few more utensils. In particular, bowls and cutlery.

Pro: Great location. Very convenient having 2 bathrooms and the roof terrace was fabulous. Washing machine a huge bonus.

Contro: Spiral staircase was a little challenging.

A gem of an apartment

Pro: Beautiful apartment in a great location. The beds were super comfy and the air conditioning very welcome. The spiral staircase was a challenge, but taken slowly, it was fine. Mosquito plugs in each bedroom were very welcome, but the low door frames and the beams in the main bedroom were an issue as we are a tall family. However, after the first bumped head, we all remembered for the rest of our stay! The kitchen isn't the best equipped, but this is a holiday let, where most people will eat out. A complete set of plates and dishes would have been great, but not a deal breaker. All in all, we had a fantastic holiday in a great location in a great apartment.

Contro: The handrail for the stairs is slightly loose in places, but the stairs taken slow and steady are ok.

Pro: The location was fantastic. There were 3 of us and having our own rooms was a bonus. The roof terrace was lovely first thing in the morning and in the evening.

Contro: Nothing that others haven't said.

Pro: The location was perfect. Close to transport, restaurants and all yet away from high tourist areas.

Contro: The spiral staircase inside the apartment was a challenge.

Spacious and comfortable apartment in a great part of Venice.

Pro: Good location, close to Venice’s main sights but fairly quiet. Spacious. Good roof terrace. Aircon good. Beds comfortable. Good quality kitchen, bathrooms and washing machine. Host’s responsive and helpful.

Contro: Adding air-con to third bedroom. Some shade from the sun on the roof terrace.

We had a lovely, comfortable stay in a convenient part of this beautiful city.

Pro: The flat was spacious, quiet and comfortable. Unfortunately the weather was not good enough for us to make a lot of use of the lovely roof terrace. It was a good situation with plenty of amenities and places to visit nearby.

Contro: The bottom step of the spiral staircase is only a partial step and 2 of us missed our footing and fell - perhaps something could indicate that it is not a complete step.
