San Rocco Apartment

A spacious studio with a great location for a Venice connoisseur.

Pro: For a studio the apartment is very spacious and close to Piazzale Roma for arrival. I’m an “ old hand” at Venice and I prefer the relative quiet of San Polo or Dorsoduro. The San Rocco location is perfect, not too far from the Frari, Tonolo or the jazz club.

Contro: I had hoped the little terrace overlooked the neighbouring canal but it doesn’t. It is overlooked by a residential block but this was a minor problem.

Thoroughly enjoyable few days enhanced by lovely accomodation.

Pro: Everything. Good location, few minutes walk from Bus station. Very quiet. Nice decor.

Contro: Nothing to dislike

Pro: It was in a great location. Easy to get to from the station. Was set up well and next to a quiet canal. Close to cafes, bars and restaurants.

Contro: Difficulty with the front door lock but learnt the trick.

Pro: Nice apartment with all necessary equipment. Very central with lot of restaurants.

Pro: The apartment was neat and clean and was in a great area that was easily accessible to the train station and close to great bars and restaurants. A close walk to st marks square and other great tourist attractions. I would book this apartment again. Earnest who met us to check us in was so helpful and gave us great tips on the city of Venice.

Fantastisch voor een paar dagen Venetië

Pro: De ligging is fantastisch. In het appartement is alles aanwezig wat je nodig hebt om er een toffe vakantie van te maken voor een paar dagen.

Contro: Niks.

Apartamento en zona tranquila pero cerca del centro.

Pro: El apartamento está bien ubicado puesto que no está en el bullicio del centro pero no está lejos. Desde la estación puedes llegar a pie sin problema. Limpio y con lo necesario para pasar un fin de semana. Zona tranquila.

Contro: No me gustó la gestión de las basuras. Nos pidieron a nosotros que nos lleváramos la basura y en Venecia es complicado puesto que hay un horario y lugares específicos, cosa que dificulta tu salida, sobre todo si vas con prisas. Con lo que pagas, podrían gestionarlo ellos. La devolución de la fianza tardó, cosa que nos tuvo preocupados, pero finalmente nos la devolvieron.

Pro: L'appartement est bien situé : quartier calme à 5 minutes de la place Roma (et donc de la gare des bus), petite épicerie pas loin, arrêt de vaporetto à quelques minutes. L'appartement est confortable: une grande pièce qui fait office de chambre, une cuisine, une grande sdb et une petite terrasse bien agréable pour le petit déjeuner ou un café. Une personne nous attendait à l'appartement pour nous remettre les clés et nous donner quelques infos. On a passé un très bon séjour !

Contro: 1. Struggled to get to the apartment from the train station because Booking.com has District and not exact Street address listed for this apartment. Wish there was exact STREET address and NOT the District address TO BEGIN WITH. Ask for the STREET address if you're booking this apartment. 2. We were provided with only 2 large and 2 small towels for 4 days / 3 nights. Washing machine was broken and we couldn't use it. 3. This is one room (studio) and not one-bedroom apartment. P.S. One-bedroom apartment generally refers to 1 bedroom + 1 leaving room, which this apartment is not, so this is one room / studio apartment (although very large).
