San Marco Terrace

Un soggiorno da sogno a Venezia!

Pro: E’ stata un’esperienza meravigliosa: bellissimo appartamento, molto pulito, curato nei dettagli e dotato di ogni comfort. La posizione è davvero ideale per visitare Venezia, comoda ma allo stesso tempo tranquilla. L’ingresso, anche se un po' buio, rappresenta molto bene le antiche residenze veneziane, mantenendo pavimenti e pareti originali dell’epoca. La terrazza è molto bella, confortevole e ben arredata, ideale per approfittare delle ultime giornate di sole, accompagnati dalla musica delle gondole che passano nel canale sottostante. Un posto perfetto per una fuga romantica, ci torneremo volentieri!

Contro: Nulla di che, forse si potrebbe incrementare la luce all'ingresso.

Pro: Siamo stati davvero bene, l'appartamento è molto accogliente, con grandi camere, arredi molto carini e si nota sicuramente che è stato rinnovato di recente. La terrazza è il top, ci si rilassa ascoltando i musicisti delle gondole che passano nel canale sottostante. Purtroppo ho anche dovuto lavorare, ma per fortuna il wi-fi è super performante.

Contro: Ingresso un po' buio e due rampe di scale.

Pro: I really loved the accommodation. The location is excellent, everything was very close. We were able to check in earlier, which was a great help with two small children. The apartment is beautifully designed, truly special – that’s why I chose it.

Contro: The apartment is no longer in the same condition as after the renovation. With a little investment, it could be rented out at a much higher price. The taps and shower heads should be replaced. The building itself is old, so there is a slight blockage in the upstairs shower. Changing the bed linen would be essential – unfortunately this was missing. I have stayed in many places around the world, and everywhere I was welcomed with fresh linen.

Great rooftop!

Pro: Great spot, so easy to access from the ferry from the airport and easy access into Venice. Rooftop terrace was awesome to sit out on in the summer evenings

Pro: The property is very spacious for a group of 4 and is in a central location.

Contro: There are a lot of stairs to access the front door of the property and also inside to reach the second level. Also the top floor bathroom doesn’t have a door on the shower.

It was a great value for money stay which with the below mentioned repairs will easily go 10/10!

Pro: It is a two floor apartment with a perfect view from its balcony/terrace! The location was very helpful since it is located near (5 minute walk) the San Zaccaria water bus station. We (4 member family ages 24-58) arrived at the Marco Polo airport and we have pre-ordered a water taxi (motoscafi) which was waiting for us at the airport and took it 20 minutes to arrive at the San Zaccaria bus station. We walked 5 minutes (the apartment is called Dogi Suites - San Marco Terrace Apartment in Google Maps) and Mr. Enrico was waiting with the keys. Both Mr.Enrico and the booking hosts were always helpful and were replying fast to help us, for which we are really grateful! Mr. Enrico explained to us some things about our visit in Venice and gave us a guide (which we used to cross check restaurants, cafe, and bars with google maps reviews to book everything). Contro: Some things that need to be fixed/repaired in order to receive 10/10 stars which San Marco Terrace would totally deserve: Starting with the 1st floor: 1. The bed's mattress was really old and needs to be immediately replaced. 2. The dishwasher was very dirty (it's filter) and when we opened it the first time it had a terrible smell. After we cleaned thoroughly it was good to go! 3. The rubber sealing of the bathroom glass has turned black due to the mold and time and needs to be replaced as well as the bathroom's telephone shower 4. We know that the technique that is used to paint the house is very difficult and unique but it surely needs a refreshing! Second floor: 1. The main problem was with the bathrooms' drainage which after 1 minute of taking a bath was filled with water and did not drain it properly (the water almost leaked outside the bathroom sometimes so we had to stop taking a bath until it was drained) 2. The second problem was with the bathrooms' water pressure, since when someone from the 1st floor took a bath we didn't have pressure on the second floor. 3. Also the bathroom needs it's telephone to be replaced. 3. The one of the two battery powered lighting bulbs didn't work properly, I thing it's power outlet is broken. Second floor Terrace/Balcony 1. The first holder of the tent is not opening when you open the tent and I had to step on a chair to manually open it (the first one is when you open the door and enter the exterior/balcony)

Pro: Location was great and it was modern. Host very helpful

Contro: Showers were very small.

Um sitio con encanto a 3’ de san marco.

Pro: La localización y la decoración. Tb teníamos 2 baños que siempre es de agradecer.

Contro: Al estar en Venecia la zona del portal está un poco echada a perder.

Pro: Wir haben für 6 Personen bezahlt aber wir waren nur zu zweit da. Wir haben nichts zurück erstattet bekommen. Schöne große Terrasse nah am Markus Platz. Für 3 Nächte 2 Personen 1100€ nicht gerade billig.

Contro: Das Wasser bei duschen war immer zu wenig.

Pro: Lokalizacja i bardzo dobra obsługa. Możliwość zostawienia bagażu!!!

Contro: Niemam uwag
