Clean vintage appartment

Pro: Beautiful and clean vintage apartment in a great location. Staff friendly.

Contro: Very very noisy, noise comes from the street below the bedroom windows, doesn’t end until late hours of the night and starts again super early in the morning, but I guess that comes with it being in such a central location. Some lights didn’t work, many switches do nothing. But manageable. The mosquito deterrent plug ins were out of refill tabs so mosquitos terrorised us all night every night. TIP - if you have the fan on, facing the bed, that might help as mosquitoes find it difficult to fly. Unfortunately for us we only realised it on the last night. A little confusing being contacted by 3 different people just to check in. Felt a little dodgy at first. It would help if the host could send a message via booking.com 1st to inform who will be in touch and when. Not enough soap and shampoo left for the entire stay. Would have expected more considering how much we paid for the stay. Had to buy our own and then leave big bottles behind.

Central location, but consider it might be loud outside.

Pro: The apartment was very clean with historic touch. Right in the central part of Venice. Close to San Marco, close to water transport. Restaurants, cafes, grocery store near by.

Contro: A little bit hot during summer nights.
