Great property and location.

Pro: I loved the location of the property being on the grand canal we were able to watch everything going on from our window. The location was also close enough to get to all the main sights but far enough away to be able to relax. Everything was clean, well appointed and functioning.

Contro: There was nothing not to like really.

Contro: The smart TV did not load properly at times therefore watching some programs was very frustrating It would be good to have a full length mirror positioned somewhere

Location! Views! Comfortable!

Pro: Lovely big modern apartment. Comfortable and well equipped. Fantastic being right on the water - we very much enjoyed looking out and hearing the sounds of the canal. Location is fantastic - outside of busiest tourist traps - access to lovely Venetian shops, bars and restaurants. Felt very secure.

Contro: Check-in wasn’t that flexible - we had to cut our day short to ensure we could meet the host on time. Self check-in would be better. Found a few hairs in bathroom :(

Aussies go Mediterranean

Pro: The facilities were great. Loved having Netflix and watching the gondolas pass our windows. Accommodation was central to restaurants, shops and transport.

Contro: Not the accommodation's fault but Venice as a location has a mosquito problem. The owner caters for this as best they can.

A rare find, and a wonderful Venetian experience in a superb location. I will definitely be back.

Pro: Location is second to none. Atmospheric, charming and a pure slice of real Venice. The bedroom windows open directly onto the Canal and the sound of the lapping waters gave me an amazing night's sleep. The area is peaceful but has plenty of cafes and restaurants, and the Vaporetto is close too.

Contro: I visited in May. I don't know how it would be in other seasons, but it was perfect when I was there.

We thoroughly recommend this property. It is lovely, comfortable and in an excellent location.

Pro: The apartment was beautiful and exceeded our expectations. It was well laid out and provided all necessities. We loved being able to look at the Grand Canal through our windows and to see the gondolas parked right outside was a bonus! The beds were very comfortable and the apartment was very cosy and easy to reach.

Contro: The only negative was that there was no soundproofing in the bedroom. Whenever people in the apartment upstairs were walking around, the floor creaked and their footsteps were loud - and one night the noise went until after 2 am, then started again around 7 am..

Wonderful apartment on the grand canal

Pro: Wonderful apartment. Left this morning. I had the sofa bed and fell asleep with the sound of the canal lapping against the gondolas a few feet away. Perfect location close to Rialto Bridge, lovely neighbourhood, and Ernst was in touch from the day before we travelled with instructions. Spotless, spacious, 2 bathrooms were handy for 3 ladies and the tumble dryer was useful because we had a bit of rain. Would definitely return x

Pro: This was a beautiful place to stay. Very spacious and beautiful finishes throughout. Kitchen was great and good washing machine and dryer. Excellent location near one of the water bus stops on main canal. Plenty of restaurants and grocery store within easy walking.

Contro: Nothing to not like.

Highly Recommended

Pro: Beautiful Apartment. Large, airy spaces and lovely views over the Grand Canal. Excellent location, really close to Valporetta (San Toma) and local supermarket….both minutes from apartment. Please note: If arriving after 8pm there is an additional charge of 40€. Communication with owner was good although a Welcome Book in the apartment would be great….packed with useful info. i.e. local suggestions on restaurants, how to work TV, wifi, garbage collection and info on baggage storage (if needed). From previous guests reviews I would also suggest additional pillows. This aside, this is a really lovely apartment and we would highly recommend this place!
