Large Three-bedroom Apartment with Canal View in Cannaregio

Fabulous apartment in a brilliant location...felt like we lived like Italians for the weekend!

Pro: The location is brilliant; in a more local area, the windows looking right onto a canal, looking out the living room windows across some green space so not directly into another building which was really nice. A great bakery a few doors down, some fab cafes and restaurants along the street - superb fish restaurant next door that's apparently a big hit with locals. The apartment was spotless, and very roomy but not sparce...lovely light from windows, shutters if you want to use, the kitchen was very well equipped. Great size beds (the singles are more like a small double size)...the main bed was quite firm but we still slept well from all the walking we did! I would definitely stay here again! Communication was excellent and we were met on arrival. Thanks for having us!

Contro: The shower itself is quite small, but in my experience of Italian bathrooms this is not unusual...the water pressure and heat was excellent and this is the only thing I can think of to say that didn't hit 100%, so pretty good.

Perfect canal-side stay in Cannaregio

Pro: Fabulous location away from the touristy bits of Venice (but still easy to access those places as desired!) The flat is on the top floor overlooking a canal, on a street with wonderful restaurants and bars. Despite it being a popular area with locals, the bedrooms are really quiet, which is perfect. We stayed with our grown kids and their partners, and there was plenty of room for all of us. Special shout out to Barnaba, who hosted us... he was really kind, responsive and helpful!

Pro: Loved the location. Quiet but plenty of good places to eat. Loved the style of the apartment. Two bathrooms very good. Very clean all through.

Contro: Two pillows per person would have been appreciated for extra comfort. All other facilities good.

Un accueil parfait et un appartement très spacieux

Pro: Nous avons beaucoup apprécié l’accueil chaleureux des propriétaires et la localisation de l’appartement. L’appartement est idéalement situé dans un quartier très agréable à 2 pas du centre ville de Venise mais également idéal pour prendre le bateau et se rentre à Murano / Burano. L’appartement était très propre, fonctionnel et spacieux. Je recommanderai sans hésiter à mes proches de réserver cet appartement pour leur prochain passage à Venise. Point bonus pour la vue depuis le salon qui est magnifique.

Pro: Great location! And this apartment has AMPLE space for a group! You can walk anywhere on the island within 10-20 minutes! Barnaba met us upon arrival at the apartment; explained everything in detail and gave some great food recommendations! We spent one of our days on Murano and Barnaba told us how to get to the closest ferry. We decided to book private water taxis to/from the train station as we had a group with ample luggage. Would definitely stay here again!
