A perfect stay in Venice, made even better by a fantastic location and an incredibly helpful host.

Pro: I loved everything about Casa Fondamente Nuove. The apartment is comfortable, well located, and a great base for exploring Venice. It is also very convenient to reach from the airport by Alilaguna boat—just the second stop —making arrival easy and stress-free. The owner was exceptionally helpful, providing valuable information about Venice and many small tips that truly enhanced our stay. She was always responsive to inquiries and available whenever we needed anything.

An unforgettable stay in a beautiful Venetian flat, with stunning views stretching towards Murano.

Pro: We loved our stay at Casa Fondamente Nuove and would definitely stay there again! You could not ask for a better host than Elisa who is just lovely and a fountain of local knowledge! Communication with her prior to arrival was excellent and easy and she met us off the waterbus when we arrived and was incredibly helpful throughout our stay. The bed was really comfortable, and the flat has everything you need and is impeccable. We particularly loved the views from the window and saw some beautiful skies, see the 2 photos attached! We absolutley recommend this flat, - a perfect blend of comfort, charm and serenity!

Venice is an absolute dream, the location of this property was perfect for our family.

Pro: Elisa met us at the dock and walked us to the location, gave us a guide of the best places to eat and visit. A booklet with recommendations. And kept us informed about any changes.

We loved our stay had a great time and we loved our host.

Pro: Firstly the Host, she's a super host, very friendly, approachable and very informative. She met us at the water bus stop very close to the apartment on our arrival. She sat us down at the table after she showed and talked to us about how everything worked, took out a map and showed us where all the best places, restaurants, bakery's and shops like the co-op were and how to get there. When we checked out, she took us back to the water bus station to ensure we got on the correct one that took us where we needed to go. Gorgeous apartment with stunning views, perfect location and easy to get to anywhere you wanted to go whether walking or using the water bus. We loved the water bus. We felt very safe and secure. We will definitely be returning and highly recommend this accommodation.

Contro: We genuinely loved everything including the beautiful sunsets looking out of the windows. Don't be fooled by the pictures of the windows, they are both big and lovely to look out at the water and all the boats going to and fro, it's really fascinating to see.

Pro: This flat is spectacular--in location, comfort, views through the window, convenience, and graciousness of the host. We absolutely loved staying here and found it a perfectly located and beautiful flat for traveling around Venice and the islands. Quiet, yet easy to access anything you would want to see in Venice. The vaporetto system is wonderful and so efficient. The host is super organized and we are grateful for the extra work she did in helping us with various things before and during our trip. Pro: Elisa was an exceptional host. She meet us at the boat station to take us to the apartment and was very generous with her time showing us the apartment and then went through all the local shops and restaurants etc. She was always available and booked a water taxis for us when it was need. Highly recommend.

Absolute gem of a property and amazing hosts.

Pro: Elisa and Silvia were perfect hosts. They greeted us on arrival at Fondamente Nove pier and showed us to our apartment. Elisa even met us at 4.15am on our departure day to make sure we made our Alilaguna transfer to the airport. The apartment itself was fantastic. Spotlessly clean, very peaceful and well appointed. The location is perfect - away from the hustle and bustle of St Marks Square but easy walking distance to all the major attractions and handy for the airport ferry and boats to the other islands. The local area has plenty of options for bars and restaurants that were less hectic than in the more touristy arears. We will definitely return.
