Splendido appartamento con affaccio su rio Marin e a due passi dalla stazione

Pro: La posizione comoda (pure con un buon supermercato a piano terra), la splendida vista sul canale e sulla fondamenta, la tranquillità, la comodità dell'ascensore, l'ampia metratura dell'alloggio (con due camere e due bagni), la luminosità della zona giorno. La gentilezza dell'host che ha acconsentito al check in anticipato di quasi due ore.

Contro: Le attrezzature in cucina (scarse e un po' raffazzonate); la pulizia, sempre in cucina (cassettoni, ripiano in inox), poteva essere migliore. Considerato che il costo dell'appartamento è stato di oltre 220 Euro a notte (a inizio dicembre), si tratta di dettagli ai quali - a mio avviso - dovrebbe essere dedicata qualche attenzione in più.

Pro: Superbly located, comfortable and spacious…all amenities were working satisfactorily.

Contro: There was no socket available close to the kitchen unit to be able to boil water or make toast as the only socket close by had the Internet WiFi plugged in it…

Pro: Excellent location. Easy to get to. Cool rooms with fantastic air conditioning.

Contro: Arrangement for the key was tricky. Pre arranged plans before leaving South Africa was not kept. While traveling internet access is not always possible and the arrangement was cancelled because the key person did not get confirmation of the pre arranged time I sent. What makes it tricky is communicating with different people for one property. That means if you have 3-4 different places you stay you can have 6-10 people communicating and getting wires crossed. ONE property. ONE person to communicate with.

Perfect stay in Venice

Pro: Everything was amazing. The view was perfect, location was great. The shop below was great for grabbing what we needed.

Pro: everything went smoothly. The apartment was cheerful, on a busy canal and very handy to the station but also Venice as a whole. We had a small problem with water heater but Frederico (his wife actually) worked hard on a Saturday night to have it fixed for us.

Perfect, would be my no 1 choice if I return.

Pro: Perfect location, especially as I was meeting my daughter at the train station. Not too far from anywhere. Shop very handy below. Watch gondoliers go past from the balcony.
