Pro: The location was great — central but not too touristy, which made it feel more local and relaxed. The apartment was excellent. The interior is nicely decorated with historical touches that really suit the place and give it a special charm. We also got very good recommendations for places to eat, which made our stay even better.

Contro: A small downside was that a few things in the apartment could use some refreshing. Also, the water pressure was a bit low at times.

Contro: Just minor things. Lights in one bedroom weren’t working. Only one tea towel. Really nothing major.

Contro: The sewage smell in the second bedroom is unbearable and the smell from the kitchen downstairs in the restaurant can be smelled constantly in the master bedroom. Perhaps another tip is to turn the heating down a little bit. This is due to the climatchange

A spacious and comfortable apartment in a perfect location in Venice

Pro: We went to Venice for 5 days as a group of two couples mainly to visit the Biennale, but also to do some general sightseeing. The appartment was perfect for our needs, slightly off the beaten tracks, but close to the Biennale. It faces a square next to a canal, and the views from the appartment are stunning. Living room, kitchen and one of the bedrooms all face that square and are bright and spacious. The other bedroom is spacious as well, just goes to a small alley and it is best to keep the shutters closed. We loved the exposed beams and the furniture. A really comfortable appartment.
