Sant'alvise Design Palace R&R

Pro: Casa molto bella, ben divisa e con la comodità di due stanze separate con altrettanti bagni, se si viaggia in 4 è perfetta, una lode particolare alla pulizia, impeccabile!

Contro: La casa è in una zona molto tranquilla e residenziale, ottimo per chi magari è in città per lavoro o per più settimane, meno adatta a chi visita la città solo per pochi giorni e per chi cerca servizi e svago a portata di mano. Unico vero appunto i cuscini da 4,99 di Ikea, scomodi e con l’imbottitura appallottolata che in una casa con questi prezzi sono inaccettabili!

Excellent option for a family stay in a quiet area.

Pro: The location was very, very good - quiet neighbourhood area which is a far cry from the overcrowded areas deeper into Venice. The apartment was around the corner from a supermarket which made it easy to stock up. It also wasn't too far to get to from our arrival point, the Santa Lucia train station, and subsequently we were a minute away from a docking point for our departure by boat taxi to Marco Polo airport.

Contro: Give the property has only one proper bed, the one of the other two sofa beds was quite stiff. Although we do appreciate the fact that these were set up for sleeping on as we were a group of six. I had read on other reviews that the fuse box was triggered after turning on the oven and this happened to us as well, so a trip outside to reset the box - no issues using the grill mode. Air conditioning was also capped to a minimum temperature which we felt could have been slightly lower. Given these small discomforts the pros still massively outweigh the cons.

Family holiday Venice

Pro: Good location away from noise of the tourist areas comfortable house good air conditioning with washing machine

Contro: Drain in the upstairs bathroom did not drain very well, pillows on the upstairs bedroom not the best , we could not adjust the fan speed of the air conditioner ??, light in downstairs bathroom not working, Dishwasher was not empty on our arrival it still had cutely in side. The check on process re meeting at blue pier and general directions were a little patchy.

Great property in lovely area within walking distance of the centre.

Pro: - Very spacious, great layout. Ideal for our family group of 5 adults- 3 separate sleeping rooms and 2 very well equipped bathrooms. - Very clean and modern whilst retaining some charm. - Good value. - Great outdoor terrace. Very effective aircon- it was 30+ degrees - Lovely neighbourhood- large supermarket, lovely streets/canals, great bars and restaurants, all just round the corner from the property. The distance from the major tourist attractions might be a disincentive to some. It’s approximately a 25 min walk which is nothing when cool but less comfortable in very hot weather. On balance however, we all preferred to be in this neighbourhood than closer to the centre. - Easy to get to via Aliguna water bus/taxi. Not the cheapest option- €18 one way- but the most direct and worth it - plenty of comfortable seats. Very easy to use from airport terminal, 30 min pleasant ride to Madonna del Orta stop , which is a ten minute walk from apartment.

Contro: - For some, it might be too far from the Centre. - Despite having 3 separate sleeping rooms, there was only one actual double bed. The other 2 rooms had sofa beds which were less comfortable and smaller than a double bed. - As others have said, communication with the rental company wasn’t ideal. I had to give my arrival details several times, because they didn’t seem to have this. There were no tips/advice about best transfer options so I had to estimate my time of arrival at the property. I did this fairly accurately- gave a one hour window, so was disappointed when we had to wait outside the property in very hot weather after a long journey. The support to resolve problems needs improvement. At 10pm on a Friday night, dark outside , the oven caused the power to fail. The entire apartment was plunged into darkness, I was in a cold shower. The internal fuse box fine. We contacted the lovely girl who had met us at the apartment . The only advice she could offer was to scan the building instructions. This was very difficult in the dark. It was left to my daughter to resolve the problem using ChatGPT and translation. Turns out the power switches were in the dark outside the building. My husband had given up, but my daughter and I eventually located said box and located the tripped switch. We were afraid to use the oven thereafter. At no time did anyone offer to come and help whilst we were in darkness or check out the oven. We would have given this property full marks if communication and support was sufficient.

Wonderful house which will make an occasional rainy day pass quickly.

Pro: We had a great stay and we didn't find it to be too big for 2 people - felt like an own house. The cleanliness was impeccable, even some of the things that are usually not cleaned in similar accommodations seemed to have been been cleaned here. It's in quiet neighborhood with a large supermarket just 40 seconds away.

Contro: It's hard to find anything. I guess it depends on preference, but some side sleepers might find the main bed not being soft enough. The wifi speed is 5 Mbps, which made us use faster mobile internet instead.

Great apartment in a lovely part of Venice.

Pro: We loved the location of the apartment in a quite part of Venice, with a supermarket and lots of cafes, restaurants and bars within a 5 minute walk. We were impressed with how well appointed it was. Very modern fixtures and fittings and beautiful interior design. The apartment is easily accessed by the local water taxi from Venice train station. Our host was very helpful and she ensured that we were made very welcome when we checked in.We would stay again

Contro: The sofa bed in the ground floor bedroom was very uncomfortable for two adults.

Once upon time in Venice

Pro: Big amazing place for weekend for big family.Large terrace and rooms,a lot of different lights.Cozy

Pro: La amabilidad de Marina, quien Nos entregó las llaves. La decoración y comodidad del apartamento.

Contro: Las almohadas eran excesivamente bajas para nuestro gusto.

Pro: Espectacular lugar. Súper grande e iluminado y limpio y muy bien decorado. Nunca se imagina uno están fuera que adentro hay un espacio tan lindo. Camas y toallas oliendo deli y muy limpias u de buena calidad.

Contro: Con niños la ubicación no es muy estratégica pues queda alejado y Venecia es difícil con cochecito

Pro: La comodidad de viajar en familia y que cada miembro pudiese tener su habitación y planta diferenciada. Casa recién reformada con mucho gusto y con espacio más que suficiente al que añadir el patio inferior. Absoluta tranquilidad en la zona con acceso a supermercado y parada de Alilaguna cercana. Contacto con empresa encargada del alquiler turístico ágil y rápido, destacando su amabilidad !

Contro: Considero que para el precio del alojamiento el hecho de que solamente una de las habitaciones cuente con cama doble es inapropiado, la habitación de la planta baja así como del altillo tienen sofá cama doble que no se hace cómodo sobre todo para estancias superiores a un día ... Sobre todo teniendo en cuenta la amplitud de ambas estancias. El wifi también es escaso, no dando el servicio esperado ... NO supimos, o no funcionaba la campana de la vitrocerámica, unicamente hicimos en la casa el primer desayuno y al tostar el pan empezó a sonar la campana ante incendios, contactamos con la persona que nos habían asignado a través de Whatsapp pero no tuvimos respuesta a como solventar esta incidencia, con lo que ya no pudimos usar la placa por miedo a que volviese a saltar la alarma ....
