Ca' Badoer Attic

Pro: La location dell’appartamento è perfetta: comodo per arrivare a piedi da piazzale Roma e anche a San Marco. L’appartamento ha uno stile meraviglioso, e’ dotato di tutto e i letti sono molto comodi. Gli spazi sono molto ben organizzati.

Contro: Come molte case di Venezia il pavimento è in discesa, ma non è assolutamente un problema. L’unico reale difetto dell’appartamento è la doccia che è un po’ sacrificata all’interno del bagno.

Appartamento romantico con vista sui tetti di Venezia

Pro: Appartamento con ascensore, decisamente caratteristico, romantico, luminoso e silenzioso. Tripla esposizione con vista aperta su chiese e tetti di Venezia. Arredamento curato e coerente con lo stile dell'attico. Fornito di tutto e in posizione comoda, abbastanza vicino alla stazione e alla fermata San Tomà del traghetto. Grande disponibilità da parte della proprietaria.

Contro: Sistemazione che richiede un po' di spirito di adattamento soprattutto per il bagno che presenta la doccia posizionata tra il lavabo e i sanitari con dispersione dell'acqua tramite una griglia sul pavimento. Comunque con un po' di accortezza si riesce a gestire bene il tutto. In alcuni punti il soffitto è decisamente basso e bisogna fare un po' di attenzione, ma la vista incantevole dalle finestre ripaga abbondantemente.

Un appartamento dotato di ogni confort

Pro: Gentilezza disponibilità , ritiro chiavi veloce anche se non a orario concordato, appartamento silenzioso, fresco, pulito, dotato di tutto, cucina attrezzatissima, vista impareggiabile, a 10 minuti dalla stazione e in zona piacevole non troppo turistica. Da notare che c’è l’ascensorista, cosa molto rara per i palazzi antichi veneziani.

Contro: Per me non è stato un problema, ma per dovere di cronaca segnalo che essendo un palazzo molto antico il solaio in legno che faceva da pavimento è un po’ inclinato in alcuni punti (in sostanza il pavimento non è completamente orizzontale) e questo può dare qualche effetto di disequilibrio. Il bagno è piccolo quindi la doccia è a pavimento (nulla che non si possa asciugare in pochi minuti comunque). In generale bisogna fare un po attenzione per chi è altro all’le bellissime travi antiche del soffitto (essendo mansardato). Ma ripeto per me non sono stati un problema.

Cosy and central. Perfect for a short getaway in Venice.

Pro: Super central location without being noisy as it was so high up. The host was very welcoming and we found the “book” with tips on restaurants, luggage storage and public transport very helpful. The property was cosy and well equipped.

Pro: The attic was beautiful. It was clean, had an AC unit which worked well and provided everything we needed for our 4-night stay. It is located on the 04th floor (plus another flight up to the apartment from the attic doorway) so do keep that in mind if you have any accessibility needs. Marta was a gem, she was so welcoming and friendly and really helpful. The location was great for my work meetings - very central, with restaurants and bars close by, but it was not a noisy street. I would absolutely stay here again.

Contro: The only thing, which was not at all enough of an 'issue' to impact my trip to any degree, was the shower. I appreciate that others may wish to know, which is why I note it here. The water pressure was very low. If you have thick, for example thick curls, washing and rinsing them may be a chore. Whilst the water temperature fluctuated occasionally (I wondered if it was dependent on other apartments also having showers or running water) it was the pressure that was the thing to slow me down. It's entirely understandable as it's such an old city and a very old apartment, and I'm not at all complaining as it was clean (definitely my preference!) but it is in no way a quick high-pressure experience 🤭

Amazing stay in a historical house in the centre of Venice

Pro: The attic was well appointed and thoroughly clean, exhibiting a lot of period features - house is 750years old. Air-conditioning was essential as it was heating up a lot during the day. The kitchen was well equipped. Internet was fast and there was a lift to the 4th floor.

Contro: Bathroom was quite small and awkward and water was going everywhere when showering as there was no cubicle and the curtain was in an awkward position. The water pressure was a real issue and temperature was constantly changing as the hot water was coming from a combi boiler that was turning on and off due to the pressure being inconsistent.

Pro: The view from this room was just amazing, and the space is much bigger than it looks in the pictures. Fridge, washing machine, and stove were very convenient to have while we were in Venice.

Pro: Location. Staff were friendly and very accommodating.

Pro: Great Location, very spacious with a great view of Venice in an old home Attic. The host is absolutely fantastic and very kind. Plentiful facilities like a kitchen, coffee maker, condiments, washing machine etc.

Contro: Understandably the room isn’t very high so it’s easy to bang your head and makes it feel a bit more cramped — bed could be more comfortable.
