Pro: The apartment is close to the train station and bus station, about a 10-15 minute walk and no bridges from the train station which is a huge plus. However beware that the steps to go up to the apartment are steep, for those with luggage. Fabrice was of utmost help during our stay, providing us with all the necessary information beforehand and responding very quickly during our stay to any questions we had. For our family group it was perfect.

Pro: Had absolutely everything we needed. Fabrice was very helpful and had lots of information readily available for us. Great location

Great authentic stay in the heart of the city.

Pro: Communication with the owner was great. Very helpful. Location was fantastic - close To everything.

Contro: We hadn’t realised that the single bed was through the main bedroom separated by a curtain - for us it was ok, but could bother others.

Convenient, comfortable and cozy.

Pro: Location is about 6-8 minutes' walk from St Lucia station, no need to accross any bridge so quite convenient for anyone with luggage. Also 1-2 minutes' walk from a water bus station. There is a restaurant named Bar al Parlamento at the entrance of the alley of the property, which is very good, we had two meals there. The property itself is clean, cosy and spacious. The owner is friendly and helpful. He helped us with a gondola trip and arranged a water taxi to bring us to the airport at the end of our visit. Btw, the water taxi parked at the opening of the alley, just 50 meters from the property door, saving us much effort.

Pro: The appartment was perfectly located, just a short walk from the train station. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and the check in and out went really smoothly. We received all the necessary information from the owner, making our visit truly enjoyable!!!!! Highly recommended!!! :)

Pro: Great location, close to the train station and slightly away from the tourist hussle. Fabulous communication from the host also. The apartment has a homely feel and we felt like locals after our short stay!

Contro: As with most places in Venice, there are steep steps. We were well prepared, and hubby did our heavy lifting. I think these things add to the experience of travelling to old cities. As a family of 4, we did not use the smaller third bedroom that others have commented on.

Perfect Location

Pro: Location is amazing with lots of bars and restaurants close by. 20 min walk to St Marks, 5 mins to waterbus and 10mins to main bus/train station.

Contro: 3rd bedroom is tiny, off the main bedroom and in the eaves so impossible to stand-up. Ear plugs and an eye mask are also a must.

Pro: So. Good things first! This house is well equipped. The beds were comfy. And it was beautifully clean. There's always plenty of hot water too, and a powerful shower, although the bath is slightly tricky to climb in and out of when slippery. The owner communicated brilliantly and was on hand to answer questions. All directions given in advance were perfect, and the photos helped greatly. We loved the neighbourhood. Slightly away from main St Marks area, but still busy and buzzy. Great atmosphere at night, with many great bars and restaurants within walking distance. It's also an easy walk from the main train station. The airport Alilaguna drops off nearby, and there's a Vaporetto stop at the end of the alleyway.

Contro: However.... the one thing that we absolutely hated, and this was a definite show stopper for us, was the 3rd 'bedroom'. The advert clearly says \

Second time we’ve stayed in this part of Cannaregio, we like that it’s slightly off the tourist trail and is quiet.

Pro: Very clean, well equipped with all we needed, great location for everything in Venice. Fabrice was great to deal with and very responsive to any questions we had.

Pro: The location was perfect. Close to the public transport and most importantly, away from the massive crowds but within close walking distance to the most beautiful spots.
